The Wind Stole My Soul

The soft and soothing sound of the breeze
Came swirling and sweeping, my spirit to freeze
It stole my soul and set me free
Transformed me to what I wanted to be

It stole me from sorrows and stole me from strife
Sought for me an emancipated life
It stopped me from speaking the sin I once spoke
A sweeter spirit, it seemed to provoke

It stole me from slavery and suffering of sin
It set me on the Stone, a new story to begin
It seemed as a spirit, it spoke to my soul
It seemed supernatural, my life to control

It saw through my soul as a sheet of glass
It showed me a love no man could surpass
It liberated me and made me whole
Like a thief in the night, the wind stole my soul
